I started off working on multi-sensory memory work with the younger ones but the middle school kids wanted to join in the fun. Things quickly got out of control. I love these pictures. It is so clear that everyone is having fun. I don't think any learning actually took place.
At least they will walk away from today with some happy memories. Shaving cream is always fun to play with and sometimes can help dyslexic learners input the letters and the sounds that they make.
Oh, I don't know--there are all kinds of learning! And learning to have fun with family members and making memories is a lot more precious and important than more formal learning!
ReplyDeleteSaid Beautifully, thank you! We have always said that the goal is heaven and everything else (including reading and writing) is just gravey. Learning to enjoy life and loving your family are good lessons for that higher goal, for sure!
