Friends at Mass

I just love watching the young ones meet their friends at Mass and walk away to talk and explore.  Here they are visiting with St. Joseph.

A Visiting Friend

Princess was babysitting a friends little on at our house the other day.  The precious young lady was all cuddles.  She was letting all the kids get their baby time.  They even argued over who got to change her diaper.

Bagel loved catching some baby cuddles.
I really did think it was so cute to listen to the 12 year old and the 9 year old doing the "remember when" s in regard to diapers and bottles with the twins.
Jumba said,
"It has been forever since I changed a diaper!"

I loved this.

Handy Manny Hats

The P family knew how much the girls loved Handy Manny and wanted to be like him.

As a late birthday present they gave the girls the best gift ever.  Each one got a hard hat just like Handy Manny, except theirs were pink.  They also got some tool.  Oh my goodness did they have fun.

The hats were so perfect that the girls tried to sleep with them.
Early the next morning the two were off playing with their new toys, fixing things around the house.

Baby Caroline

We went back to the old neighborhood to visit with some friends.  Princess and Pickle wanted to see a special friend.  We moved to a better home but it sure was hard leaving great people.

COME HOLY SPIRIT, Pickle is Confirmed

Thank you so much Mr. P for being Pickle's sponsor.  He is lucky to know a strong man who will always help him grow in his faith.

Nanny and Gramps with the Confirmed young man!

We are so proud of this guy.

These three are all connected in the homeschool world.  We are blessed to have good friends all around us.  Congrats to Emma, Mary and Pickle.

We love the B family very much.  They are from the old neighborhood.  Yet our friendship with them continues to deepen.

Congrats Mary!
Congrats Pickle!
Now cut the cakes we are hungry!

We are so blessed to have so many good friends join us from the old neighborhood and from this one.  All to help the two families celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation!

Equally blessed to have had Nanny ad Gramps fly down from St. Louis to celebrate with us.

While we were at the ceremony the T family and Mrs. W came over and got the food all out and ready to serve.  When we arrived home we were able to eat right away.  That was a wonderful blessing.  Thank you for such wonderful friends.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
