I have learned that I needed to take better care of my nails. I use the stuff pictured above.
Don't you love my nails?!?

Sugar Has Reaction
Sugar is very careful to avoid all shellfish. Everytime Sugar walks into her cafetera at school she wipes everything down before touching anything. Today she got a phone call and touched the door on her way out of cafe to chat on the phone. The person having the cafe before must have eaten shellfish because she could feel her throat close up right away. Her boyfriend and her friend took her to the er right away.
We feel so blessed that Sugar has such good people in her life. They made sure that they got to the ER immediately. She was well cared for. I love that Sugar is so loved!

Wrist Is Better But Has Holes
Bagel is healed. There are still a few holes still visible in her bone left over from the screws that held the plates in place. They will fill in in the next 8 weeks or so.
This is wild but the holes are still there from where the pins were located.

Bagel's Second Surgery
So her arms was completely healed, the doctor felt that because of her tender young age that we should remove to plates.
She didn't want the surgery but handled like a true champ.
So hopefully we are not he full mend and she will be back to normal soon. Did you see the hardware, that is some serious stuff . . .

Bagel Arm Update
We could not believe how much hardware was actually in her arm. Dang that poor girl. She and I decided to have a big breakfast and drown her broken wrist sadness in some yummy waffles. Truth is she is healing nicely so that is good news.

Bagel Has Surgery
So much anxiety is involved in this surgery.
We always feel that prayers are answered when our babies wake up from anesthesia.
And we are headed home from Bagel's out patient surgery. We are told that they place two plates in to stabilize the wrist, it will take several months to heal and then she will need a second surgery to remove the hardware.

Poor Bagel
As it turns out the deck of this rental is in very bad shape. We didn't know this until Possible and Bagel fell as one of the banisters collapsed. They dropped 6 feet onto Pickle. Thankfully everyone lived but Bagel didn't come out unscathed. Welcome to St. Louis and the emergency room. . .
The results are in and she has a broken wrists. There are a few breaks and one is at the growth plate. After working so hard to unload the trucks this poor kids will not swim the rest of the summer, she will need 2 surgeries and is looking forward to a few months of healing.
Friends are always so good as sending some love from far away. Thank you the Fraser family.
Now we have to find our medicine and take care of this precious girl. Our dishes didn't break but our daughter did.
