Christmas Morning

Our family traditions are that on Christmas and Easter, the kids must wait until dad approves them entry into the down stairs.

Once everyone was down stairs the fun would begin.

There were some great gifts that were shared. There are so many thoughtful gifts from the kids that went back and forth. I love watching them open the St. Nick gifts and then the gifts from each other. I am taking great pleasure from the kids interactions.

Will Santa Visit?

Here Twin Adorable is working hard to set up a beautiful display for Santa and the reindeer. I love that she took the time to put the celery on the outside of the carrots. She took great pride in having it look good for St. Nick.

Looks like Santa did visit. He loved the cookies and it looks like his reindeer devoured the rest.

This is always my favorite picture. Santa has been here. There will be joy and celebrating Jesus birthday the next morning. Now there is peace. Evidence of our huge family close by sleeping in anticipation.

Merry Christmas and May His Love Be What You Feel ALL DAY LONG!

St Nick

St. Nick filled those boots. You can't see it but he did. We know he loves us and is praying for us. He is leading us all to grow closer to HIM.

Lindenwood Christmas Walk 2019

So much fun at Lindenwood. The weather was cold but we walked all around and enjoyed the time together. We loved visiting with St. Nick and then walking out side and visiting with a real live reindeer.

Notice that the deer is resting his heavy head on Twin Adorable's head. She doesn't know it she loves it or hates it.

The campus looked so beautiful with all the candles lighting the paths on the old part of the campus.

St. Nick Comes for a Visit

St. Nick visited us on his feast day. Boots were found all lined up and filled with candies.

The tree was covered in our favorite candy canes.

Now the trading begins. Thank you St. nick for reminding us about the feeling of wonder and joy that we anticipate for Christmas.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
