Settle Down Girls

Life with 2-year old twins can be frightening.  They are often climbing, moving or redecorating.

At least they decided to End with Mass.  I loved that they spend they play time loving of Jesus.  As they get older we will explain that only boys can pretend to be priests, for now I loved hearing them talk about their friend "Baby G-G." (AKA Jesus.)

Neen's Birthday

After the Edge Dinner we continued our family celebration with mom's favorite.  We had wings and then a cake.  Happy Birthday to me.  I love having all my kiddos around me.

Edge Family Dinner Night

Our kids are so active at church that we feel like we are always up there.  I guess that is a good place to be.  We did enjoy the Edge Family Dinner Night.  Edge is the program for the 7th and 8th graders in our parish.  Even though it was my birthday we couldn't skip because we have so many involved kids.

Just One Picture

Twin Beautiful is on the left in these pictures and Twin Adorable is on the right.

Why can't they both look at the camera at the same time while smiling.  Only two 2-year olds, how hard could it be.  UGH!  Maybe Impossible.

Typical Lenten Day

Alway get your school work done.  This is what is looks like when they are finished.  I don't understand how such a mess can be made every day!

The kids were asked to take up the gifts at evening Mass.  They were so happy to do it.  Great Job Princess and Jumba.

Mardi Gras

J does not take us to New Orleans any more for Mardi Gras.  I kind of feel like, "Been There Done That".  I don't miss it like the locals would after leaving.  We do try to acknowledge that we are about the entire into a more prayerful time, one that includes a little sacrifice.

The day started with Bagels
And then ended with most of us going out to eat together.  Dad was out of town but the rest of us enjoyed a little indulgence before the season of offerings.

I share this because it really made me giggle.  As a life long Catholic I have been to many an Ash Wednesday Mass.  Ashes are always a discussion after Mass.  Have a good LENT!

Catching up soon - New computer

I have not finished a post in months.  I have been dealing with a very old computer.  Actually it isn't that old just very used.  It was a laptop that must be plugged in to work.  I have seen that most of this computer is worn out.  So as December came and I was needed to use the computer for family purposes the same computer became more and more difficult to use.  I started looking at other options.  The new windows system meant that any new computer PC or laptop would have a learning curve.  Since I have to learn a new system my kiddos encouraged me to try Apple and IOS system.  I had decided on a laptop but walked away with a desk top.  My life is in flux, I guess.  So far (one week later) love it but am still learning.

I have spent some time catching up on episodes of our favorite tv shows.  I love being able to use the big desk top screen for that.  The kids have challenged me to believe that it can do more than that.  I plan to continue to learn and use the new Apple more and more.  Thank you Jason for letting me invest in this computer.  I promise to catch up now, or at least get started.

Stolen Shots

Both of these pictures were taken from Goobers' Faebook.  I love that she and sugar are working out together.  These sisters will enjoy life together.

Our friends from the B Family were in town and the kids went out for  bite.  These are good guys that are our neighbors and have been friends for years.

Seminary Sports Challenge

We all headed to the seminary to support our future priests and to have a little fun watching a football came as well.

There is our friends Preston, he will be ordained a deacon this year and a priest the next.  He knows that Duncan wants to go to seminary so he is great at inviting us to events.
The hardest part is keeping up with kids going in every direction.
