Twin Life

Beautiful - Adorable

Twin Adorable says:  “I love the juice but not the noodles!”
Speaking about her chicken noodle soup.

Twin Beautiful replied:  “No worries, I’ll eat the noodles!”

I love how twins take care of each other.

Brothers Watching TV "Together"

Sometimes mom forgets how strong the brother bond really can be. Pickle and Jumba loved having Bear home for Christmas and now were pretending to watch tv with him. I was in the room and didn't even notice at first.

Casual School Time

Homeschooling has its great moments and it’s not so great moments. Motivation is a little harder at home because often it has to come from within. Great training for the real world. Here Jumba is either antagonizing or incentivizing Twin Adorable as she works through her math he is “rewarding her/or punishing her with a big brother kiss on the cheek!”  I love the sibling time on Monday mornings.

Princess Brings Friend to Game

Princess brought a co-worker to help cheer the kiddos on. I love that my kiddos share their siblings with their friends and their friends with their siblings.

Coaches Bagel, Dad, and Jumba.

These two are so loved, everyone wants to watch them.

Another Call With Goobers

The kids miss Goobers so much! FaceTime calls with her are often captured to be remembered. She brings so much joy to all of us!

Goober Time

The kids have been missing the older ones a lot lately.  Goobers is so good to FaceTime the little ones, so they can feel close to her.  I love how siblings can be close even 900 miles apart.

Moms Post Wedding Brunch

Today is the Saturday after the wedding. We had a blast yesterday and Pooker and JavaJava wanted us to have another opportunity for the siblings to interact and the kids to play. We hosted an open house that started with a Mom's Day Brunch.  Mr. Tobias came and helped like he always does. The food was yummy but more importantly this allowed us to continue to the fun.

Before Bear left town we decided to grab one big family shot of my kiddos. I love this group of people!  I am mom and mom-in-law to these people.  Happy Mother's day to all those people out there that love this group of kiddos and have helped to "mother" them into the wonderful people they are today.

Lego Time

One of my favorite parts of being mom is watching the kids play, especially watching them interact with each other.  Jumba (and Possible and Bagel) shared their old lego toys with the twins. Jumba took the time to play with them and to help them to create an entire village using all those legos.

This provided hours of fun. I even let them skip their math for a few days because this play time was so important.  I loved watching them learn. Sometimes the best learning is done when regular school ends and play begins. I love homeschooling!

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
