Time with Pooker and JavaJava

At first we were going to leave on Friday morning but decided to hang around one more day so we had time to hang out with Pooker.  She had been working so hard that it was all come and go.

I was sent with a mission to purchase a Chuy's shirt for Possible because she passed her lifeguard testing. While at dinner I was informed that JavaJava had his lifeguard certificate so another shirt was purchased.

We ended the night and our visit with a search for the perfect Christmas tree for their cozy apartment.

This meant more comparing and debating. We even facetimed the kids at home in St. Louis. In the end a beautiful tree was purchased.

I feel so lucky to have had all of that day to share with my two oldest kiddos. They make me so proud.

Mass st STAOP

I had to make it to at least one Mass at STAOP before leaving. The girls and I had a blast. We invited some friends and enjoyed some ChickFilA together after Mass.

It is nice to enjoy an old tradition with good friends during our short time visiting.

MNO BYE Louise - Heading to Australia

I loved our timing on this trip. I was able to attend a MNO part where we were sending off a BOL family as they moved back to Australia. The D family is gong to be missed. L is one of our dearest MNO friends. We had a fun night!

Surprise Old Neighbors

We all miss our next door neighbors from Jacob's Reserve, especially Princess considering she babysat for them every week.

We felt so welcome and loved. This is truly a wonderful family and we miss them as next door neighbors.

Goobers and Her Escorts Head to Texas

It is time for Goobers to head back to TX and a few of us are going with her.
Princess and Bagel would be our travel companions. I enjoyed sitting the back seat and just sleeping. Goobers drove the entire way.  She did a great job.

We did have to stop at the first WhatABurger we came across.
We arrived to discover that the fish have been growing and that the girls were sing the wreath that I sent.

I love visiting Goobers and Pooker. It is so nice knowing that they are doing well. They have a nice apartment. Living so far away, I find it comporting that they are safe and adjusted. It was good to arrive in their beautiful home safely after a long ride.
