Psych the Movie

Our family were Psych fans from the beginning of the show.  We all loved the charm and humor.  We were to so excited to learn of the new made for TV movie that was coming.  We kept informed about this exciting event through the Psych the Movie Facebook Page.

As it got closer and the video teasers were coming out we prepared to watch the movie together.

We kept our eye on the site and got ready to enjoy the movie.
What does one eat during a Psyche Movie party?  Pineapples of course.

In truth we enjoyed the hype and the movie.  We liked that some stories closed and others were left open.

Are You Kidding Me?

Our New Years eve plans were supposed to be simple and quiet.  I was still not feeling great I didn't want a huge party.  I just wanted my kids around.  I wanted a New Years Eve like we used to have in the 'old' days.  I thought we would sit and watch a series of movies and then stop and toast at midnight.  While dad and mom were out shopping to the proper midnight/movie marathon snacking we got a phone call . . . and then some pictures from home.

I heard jumbo and water bottle were involved.
Well this was going to change our tv watching plans.  Love my kiddos.

Oh No, You've Been Gilmored!

We tried to watch some at 2 a.m. but that didn't go too well!

Binge watching Gilmore Girls means fun food and lots of Coffee.  I wanted to make it special for the kids so I made labels and created this Gilmore Girl buffet.  We had a blast watching and eating.  I love the time with all these kiddos.

I can't say we all loved how it turned out in the end but we watched them together and then had wonderful conversations about the story lines.  Don't worry younger kiddos were not in the room for many of the conversations.  It was a very long day.  Only 4 episodes were released Gilmore Girls: A Year In the Life.  Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall each being an hour and a half.  With our food breaks and conversations it took a long while but it was worth it because of the company.

That did Feel Good - Thanks NETFLIX!!

Coffee at Luke's

Netflix plans to air a 4 part reunion show for Gilmore Girls.  This is a show that I watched with Pooker and Goobers back in the day.  They have subsequently watched them with the sisters as they have come of age.
So my girls are all preparing for the big event in November by re-watching all the old episodes.  Netflix is hosting a free coffee day in honor of 'Gilmore Girls'.   Free coffee was found at all the Luke's Diners that appeared for a few hours on October 5th.

Pooker and Goobers headed out to find a local Luke's.  I love their sense of adventure.
They invited me and all the girls but I couldn't make it work.  I only hope that we can all be together in November for the recap reunion episodes.  I love my girls and I am uber proud of them.

These two are so beautiful.  Off to re-watch some Gilmore Girls so we can enjoy!

Making Our Own Amulets

Sofia the First is a big deal around this house.  The girls are loving the story and share at pretending to be here.

I decided that this Sunday afternoon we would try to make our own amulets.  The idea was that they would be nothing like Sofia's but they would still be special.

These homemade amulets were fun but didn't last that long.  Unfortunately our glue didn't hold long. Their smiles did.  These two are so funny.  They make things like this so much fun!  Life is better with this silly willies in it.

Did They Just Swoon?

Not kidding at all, I just heard the twins "swoon" when they saw Handy Manny in his volunteer fireman outfit. I jokingly asked if they thought he looked cute in the fireman outfit. "Oh yeah!" Came the responses.

My goodness the girls are only 3 weeks shy of 4 years old. (My first crush was Racer X.). Their favorite scene is when he flys down the poll in uniform. They are so full of giggles. I love it and a little sacred by it.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
