Birthday Bear is 19!

Sugar made sure that her big brother (Irish Twin) knew he was loved even though he left early.

This kid works so hard even on Sundays.  We all joined him for Mass and then he went on to work while we drove around and got supplies to have a small party with him in the youth room.

We surprised him in the youth room.  That was fun!

 Happy Birthday big guy!

Park Time with Siblings

"Do You want to buy a duck?""  Silly kids say it all the time, the duck looks afraid as she retreats from them.

I love the few pictures that the kids took of Possible, Pooker and the Twins.

Bear Continues His Discernment

Young Mens Conference at St. Mary's Seminary hosted by the Serras Club of Houston

Fr. Brett Brannen is the author of the diocesan discernment book “To Save A Thousand Souls”. Bear really enjoyed this book and has enjoyed sharing the book with others.  He is already acting like a vocation director the way he recruits men, at least to the discernment talks.
I know that he enjoyed this event and meeting the author. Event hosted by Serra Clubs of Houston. Continue to pray for more vocations and for Bear's discernment.

Divine Mercy Co-Op CCM Week 2

We packed lunches for everyone! - even the big kids who were a little jealous because they never got lunches made for them.

It was our week to start the co-op with a presentation on our faith and prayer.  We talked about the many names of the Blessed Mother and then led the Loreto Litany.

As you can see our co-op is pretty small.  We spend our time at home on the information that we cover briefly in class.  The best part is seeing our friends (I like that it makes me stay on track.)
Friends are the best part so afterwards we headed to McDonalds with out buddies.  I wish they sold a really large cup of coffee.
These conversations are priceless.
