My Queens of Narnia

We are reading the Narnia Series with the twins and Jumba. I just love C.S.Lewis. He knows so much about Our Lord and it shows in the Narnia series. One can not read the series and not want to try Turkish Delight, or to feel the need for a sword and a Tiara. The fun thing is that the older kids all kit into the act. 

Homeschool Begins As We All Do Our Schoolwork

I won't make us start without a little fun.  I bought home the best donuts around to kick off our day in the right way.  (At least yelling that I have donuts will help ge them out of bed, lol.)

School with this crowd. It never looks the way we think it should but it is good, none the less.

Another school year off and running, who knows where this year will take us!

Precious Twin Beautiful

This cracks me up. Ms Westhoff gave me this Didache religion book that was an extra copy. She knew that I liked the series and often teach from it (Catholic Coffee Club). The book was sitting on the table and Twin Beautiful decided to study. She asked me what almost every picture was and what it stood for. I love the spirit of this young woman.

Homeschool Conference

I love walking around the homeschool conference and looking at all the vendors. I enjoy visiting each place and finding new options for teaching my children.

Then I ran into my CHERISH friend, Mary A. This lady is a beautiful soul. I am so glad to have made her friendship.

Dad Helps When Schoolwork is Not Going Well

I love this guy. He is always there to help his kiddos. Even when it is Kindergarten math and Twin Adorable is having trouble understanding.

Working Hard Before Break

More school, but don't worry guys we are almost to the Christmas break.

At Least They Are Doing Their School Work

Sometimes I am surprised when I walk around a corner at the top of the stairs and these two are hiding with their Kindles. I think I am going to catch them watching something bad for them but they are here doing school work together.

Texas T Homeschool Academy Begins 18/19 School Year

We started our school week with Mass and then started our homework right away.

School work looks different for each kid, each day! I love the interaction.

These two LOVE LOVE LOVE writing notes back and forth to each other.

I love watching the older ones working with the younger ones, helping them to do school work. Sometimes school work is conversation and library books. 

This school year will be another fun one watching the kids grow and mature.
