Easter Visit to Mimi

The kids got to point that they didn't care if we were on lock down or not. Goobers, Sugar, Possible, Princess and Bagel wanted to celebrate Easter. They got fun baskets and delivered to all of our St. Louis extended family.

I love the picture that Tim shared. No one was in anyone else's space, social distancing at its best! I love all the family in this picture. Maybe next year we can hold a huge family party!

Happy Birthday Brock, Covid Style

Social Distancing and Lockdown procedures prohibit parties. Our area declared that schools would not get back into true session until next school year. This information was a little overwhelming for our precious nephew. He was missing his friends. The 'new trend' is to have the friends gather somewhere close to form a parade. Everyone then drives past the house and yells birthday wishes from their cars. We got a bunch of trinkets to throw out at him like a parade. We brought three cars. We followed friends from school and saw grandparents parked to enjoy the sights.

Happy birthday Brock and social distancing means "Stay Out of the Car" .  Love this kiddo. This little guy said it was the best birthday he ever had.

Welcome Wee One!

The Irish theme was strong for this party.

I have shared so many pictures from our party. I love pictures. This day was such wonderful big family celebration of another life. Extended family and friends all joined in our joy as we celebrated and welcomed The R Family Mom and Dad and their little Wee One.

Best gift given was from the Texas T Kiddos to the future dad. He got a full on dad outfit. It was so perfect they made him change and try the outfit out!

Dear Heavenly Father, we thank for this beautiful gift of family. We thank you for Pooker and JavaJava and for little Baby R.

Friends and Fire Pit

The night started with hotdogs, moved to the fire pit and then back inside to the table for a little card poker. Oh my goodness there was laughing and talking way into the night. I think the last person left around 2 a.m. I so glad that my kiddos have such great friends.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
