Easter ?Church? Time Covid Style

We were told to drive by the church today. We waited an hour and a half in this line. This was ok because we had no where else to go. It was nice getting a blessing from all three priest. We thank ICD for being their for us.

Monsignor Ted Wojcicki was seated under the pavilion. He got up to take a picture from Twin Adorable from inside Sugar's car. 

 The last blessing we would receive came from Fr. Christopher Rubie.

Another Easter Church line happening in Oklahoma City. Bear was greeting people as the masked Easter Bunny. God Bless all the members of Christ the King.

Easter Vigil Mass

We all 'watched' this together. Bear assisted and we all prayed together. I don't like Easter Covid Style.

Palm Sunday - Covid Style

How should one prepare for what is normally a very long Mass but this year will be only online. We watched with a coffee in hand. Holy Week is now at hand. 

I grabbed some branches from our palm plant to decorate the door.

Grabbed some pictures from church videos at our parish of Immaculate Conception of Dardenne.

The priest blessed the palms. Goobers found out that they would be passing out them out on Sunday so she packed her car falloff siblings and drove up to ICD. They were handed several palms. They took a handful to each of their grandma's so that everyone had some.

I used ours to update our wreath with some blessed palms. And then we saw some pictures ofFr. Rick, Bear and Stephen passing out palms in OKC.

Sometimes I really wish we were closer to Bear. It is good seeing him serve the Lord.

New Way to "Do" Mass

Bear sent us a link so we could "attend" daily Mass at his parish.

Mass is at Noon every weekday.  I love hearing the words of the Eucharist.  I didn't realize how much I would miss those words.

The great news is that I get to see my son, I miss Bear so much. I wish he were trapped in quarantine with us but at least now I get to see my son serving our Lord!

Christ The King With Bear

Bear has shared so much with us about his love of this parish. Pooker and Goobers have been to visit for Mass but we had just had a tour. Staying for Sunday morning Mass was wonderful for J and I. It was so good to see Bear in his element. He is serving God and that makes him very happy.

I warmed my mom heart seeing Bear so involved and so loved.

This is Bear's favorite image of Our Lord. He loves that Our Lord is in priestly vestments. We miss yo so much Bear but it is so good to see you happy!
