Southern Visitor

Amy L was a good friend when we lived in Texas. Sugar worked as her nanny for years. They also homeschooled their kiddos so we had a lot in common. When she decided to relax a little she wanted to visit with Sugar. WE all had a fun visit. She is a great cook and the kids loved having her bake with them.

We were sad to see her go, next time we hope she can bring some of the kiddos. We miss them all. Love to the L family.

Heading off For Retreat

Confirmation retreat is upon us.  Princess is heading off with her friends.  

Sadly Sugar will not be able to make the retreat.  Mrs. G will make sure they spend their time learning about our faith.

Sugar Says Goodbye!

Another piece of our heart is leaving for school.  Sugar has completed her time at community college and had prepared to head off to Lindenwood University in St. Louis.  She will be very far from what has been our home.  We will all miss her terribly and today was about sending her off with all four love.

After lunch at Chuy's, and shopping for her still needed supplies we were treated to a steak dinner provided by the Tobias family.  Mr Larry T knows how much Sugar loves his cookie, especially steak.  He prepared a complete meal to send her off.

Every bite was delicious but more importantly every hug was lovingly received.

Kat came to make sure that Sugar knew how loved she is.

Mrs. L came to send her off with hugs as well.  

So many people came to send Sugar off with love!

Good bye L Family

For years Sugar has worked as a nanny for a wonderful homeschooling, Catholic large family from our old neighborhood.  Sugar has worked hard over the years but has also fallen in love with a second family.  The plan to go off to college meant that Sugar was leaving not just our family behind but also the L family.

Not all the kids are in this picture.  Sugar loves each and every one of them so very much.
