House Officially On Market (AGAIN)

After 8 months of needing to sell our home I am at a loss. We have a new realtor and have staged the house beautifully. The house officially went back on the market this morning at 1 am. I humbly beg you all to offer a prayer for our home to sell soon.  (New job is based in the midwest - so we are needing to unload this beautiful home and move into J's new territory. His boss has been nice about it but is starting to question if we are even trying to move.) After so long I am worn out, exhausted and getting very discouraged. This waiting game is causing so much stress. Please pray for us that a sale comes soon and that God guides us in all of our ventures.

Miss Monica's Birthday

Miss Monica B is one of our favorite people!  She asked the girls to join her for lunch to celebrate her birthday!  They had a blast.  Mrs. B and I went to separate restaurant and enjoyed ourselves as well.

Time for Pictures

After a few last minute touches we were out the door.  The house looked great.  We took some pictures to remember where things went and headed to the breakfast with the dogs.  Some of the kiddos had gone to the apartment.

Man - it looks good!  Those are our pictures.

I made a college of the real-estate pictures.  I am sure this is boring to most people.  I share  because we worked so hard for this look.  These pictures represent hours and hours of work.  We came together as a family and accomplished a lot.

It takes a couple of days for all this to process.  I just hope that momentum continues and we get this puppy sold soon.  The house looks fantastic but it is hard to live in such a beautiful surrounding always worried about breaking stuff.  Same house and it looks great but not really our style.  We are more lived in looking that this beautiful staged home.  St. Joseph . . . Pray for us!

Park Break

Today we left the professionals to get stuff done and we enjoyed an afternoon at the park.  I needed to sit and forget and the little ones needed to PLAY!  We are close to getting back on the market.  That is loaded.  We will be relieved to be on the market but this time around we all know the work involved in showing it over and over again.  This can create such an overwhelming feeling.  Today we were taking it all in.  Not to mention the weather isn't horrible yet.  Park time meant quiet and regrouping time!

A Little More To Do, Including a New Back Door

Pictures to put the house back on the market are scheduled for later this week.  Everything has to be done so that the house looks beautiful in pictures.  This meant a few runs to the hardware store.  I looked back at the house as I was leaving to see Pickle showing me his muscles.  I am not at all sure why but I have learned that 17 year old boys will poise like this often.

We were told that the replacing the back door could add the spark that is needed tp make our house stand out from the others.  We didn't want to spend a fortune and wait for a carpenter to help us so we tried it ourselves.  This was not as easy as I thought it would be.
We also spent time painting furniture.

When we could not get the door stable I sent out the alert to the homeschool group.  As always someone in the group came to the rescue.  I am really going to miss the families in Bread of Life, if we ever sell.

Mr. A and his kiddos came over and the one extra (experienced) man and his tools helped J and Pickle get the job done and done well.

It really was a win - win because while they were here I got to sit and play with the younger kiddos. We chalked and then watched a movie.

Jason and I were most thankful that Mr A brought a fresh perspective to everything.  He walked in and said we need to pray.  St. Joesph will help we just need to ask.  What a great reminder it was.  We had become so overwhelmed with getting everything done that we forgot why we were working so hard at life.  We were all praying separately but not together and not for the this specific purpose.

We had to touch everything up.  So much work.  I could find the Roku remote when we finally settled for the night.  Man I must be getting tired.

All that work is really paying off.  It will look great for pictures!
