Tea Party

Twin Beautiful ~ Twin Adorable

So a tea party was planned and prepared for. The twins sent invitations they went to the big kids and their friends. Do-Lo was the guest of honor. It was planned as soon as we were allowed to have gatherings.

While we discussed the news that the baby was fine and Pooker was not in labor, the twins sat by the door waiting to greet their guests.  Pooker and JavaJava dressed and attended the party via phone while dad and mom were banished to the upstairs. 

A great tea party was had by all. The interesting thing is that these two 7 year olds were able to get grown men dress up to have tea with them. I am impressed. Love these people!

One of the fun things that has been happening around here is that the twins have enjoyed fixing dads hair.

Dad stocked up on treats to reward his hair dressers before we were on lock down. Twin Beautiful will work very hard for those treats.

Impromptu Tea Party

The twins got tea sets for Christmas but have not been able to use them much. They decided that today was the day. They were not waiting any longer. 

The tea was made and the sisters sat down to enjoy!

Sister are the best. When you have a lot of them you can through an impromptu tea party with many guests.

There has been lots of screen time during this time.  These two are both good at starting their school work and then getting distracted. I love that they are often wrapped up near me while working on their school work.

Twin Beautiful replied:  “No worries, I’ll eat the noodles!” 

I love how twins take care of each other.

Lego Challenge

What do you do with homeschool kiddos that usually get to go to parks and to swim at the Rec Plex for exercise but are now completely trapped at home. Well Pooker send us a text message with a Lego Challenge attached. We decided to give it a go. Not every day interested them at all. They tried some of them. I loved watching them work very hard to create. We won't win any Lego contests right now but they did have fun.

Today was the last one that the girls wanted to do. I keep taking pictures because I love that they tried many of them. They were so creative and had so much fun. I loved watching the different things that these two came up with. 

Got Invites Out - YEAH!

We finally got it finished. The invitations for the T family baby shower finally made it out. Baby R it is our turn to welcome you. You are so blessed to be so loved by both big families!

My Queens of Narnia

We are reading the Narnia Series with the twins and Jumba. I just love C.S.Lewis. He knows so much about Our Lord and it shows in the Narnia series. One can not read the series and not want to try Turkish Delight, or to feel the need for a sword and a Tiara. The fun thing is that the older kids all kit into the act.
