Are the Twins Ready?

I held the kids off as long as I could.  I hear that when J was a baby he would spend hours in his Johnny-Jump-Up.  When we tried to create a wish list that day after finding out we were having twins this was the first item that J insisted we put on the list.  9 other children have never had the job but his twins would need them.  We received a Jenny-Jump-Up and and Johnny-Jump-Up as gifts.  The kids have been itching to put them up and try the babies in them.  I was able to hold them off until this week because they are not to used until the baby is 4 months according to the box.  The put them together and put them up.  Our twins are still a tad too tiny for them, I give them about 3 more weeks, but everyone had fun watching this happen.

Adorable gets the pink one and Beautiful gets the green one.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE that a first time using a new toy for the twins is a family event.  I suspect that within a few weeks the little ones will be ready and will enjoy it.

These orange outfits were gifts from Nanny and Gramps that were picked up in their Europe trip.  I love the color.  Around here you can't get an outfit for a baby girl unless it is a shade of pink.  Orange was a nice difference.   They little ones are more and more alert each day and are so much fun!

An evening with Grandparents

After being in the hot sun during the afternoon we headed to Nanny and Gramps hotel where the younger kids enjoyed a swim while the older ones enjoyed having time chatting with their Nanny.

After swimming we sit J out to get dinner of pizza and wings.  The rest of us sat with Nanny and Gramps while they shared their pictures from their trip to Europe.  They shared family secrets and history that they had discovered.  .   .  Oh and there was also lots of baby time.

A Mini Golf Challenge

With Nanny and Gramps in town the challenge was set.  We thought it would be a bowling day but instead it turned into a mini-golf day.  Two teams were picked and off they went.

I like this picture above because it shows both teams at different holes.  The twins and I were hanging out in the shade waiting for them to get to us.

Beautiful chillin with Gramps

It ended up being a warm afternoon.  That didn't damper the fun.  I am not sure which team one.  Gramps and dad will each tell you it was their team.  The scores were close though, I think it was within 7 points.
