I held the kids off as long as I could. I hear that when J was a baby he would spend hours in his Johnny-Jump-Up. When we tried to create a wish list that day after finding out we were having twins this was the first item that J insisted we put on the list. 9 other children have never had the job but his twins would need them. We received a Jenny-Jump-Up and and Johnny-Jump-Up as gifts. The kids have been itching to put them up and try the babies in them. I was able to hold them off until this week because they are not to used until the baby is 4 months according to the box. The put them together and put them up. Our twins are still a tad too tiny for them, I give them about 3 more weeks, but everyone had fun watching this happen.

ReplyDeleteMy kiddos never liked the Johnny-Jump-Ups. I think b/c they were all really tiny as babies (each kiddo barely made it to 20 lbs at the 1-year mark) and they felt unstable in it. It will be interesting to see if the girls have a different experience...they're pretty tiny, but also have each other to amuse themselves with...not to mention lots of siblings!
Blessings,
