One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone has a huge party, or does fireworks and leaves a mess for the entire neighborhood to look at. The older kiddos pay for all the fireworks so it only seamed fair that I woke up the younger ones to clean it up the next morning. To be fair they were ready to clean without any coaxing. I am very proud of them. It takes a lot of work to pick up the mess after all those fireworks. They did a great job and clean up is part of the party.
