What will I see here?
Take a peek into our life as a big family in Houston, TX. Welcome to the electronic journal for the Texas T family. This blog was created to share some moments of our life with you. Often having 11 children, homeschooling, and being incredibly active in our Catholic faith we are asked “How do you do it?” We invite you to look around, sign up as a follower, and peek into the answer to that question. Remember we are not a perfect family; but I won't post the bad stuff.
Thanks for visiting, Neen

A Little More Sleep Please
It was time for a family meal that included the twins. Meal was made, table was set and the twins were brought it. They didn't sleep long so I got to hold them. I am just glad we were invited to such a yummy family dinner. I think we need more chairs. . .
I don't think I am sleeping as much as I need. I sit down to nurse both babies and within minutes I am out. They like to be held and I love to hold them.

Goobers is 18!
Chuys was yummy and so was the cookie cake. Our precious little lady is now a woman. Goobers has grown up with such beauty and grace. She is a hard working loving person. I am so proud to call her my daughter. Thank you God for blessing us with Goobers and we ask that you continue to Bless her. Happy Birthday Goobers.

Awards Night Cuda Style
Another season has come to an end. Our swimmers had a great year. The twins took us off our grove but they were good motivation. We also were reminded how we are surrounded by wonderful people. I want to take a minute and document these kind deeds so that we never forget how blessed we really are.

Everyone was writing her back offering to take shifts in our family's name. These were the coordinators too that were already way overworked. They were offering to work in another section for us. The team president and volunteer coordinators had tears in their eyes as they described the responses.
They told us that they would not share names because people wanted to be anonymous. They were just so moved by the generosity of others that they shared. They wanted us to know how loved we were.
Yep we are very loved! Thank you God for another great swim season. We learned so much about who we were and our friends and neighbors; we also leaned somethings about swimming.

Twins Try Cereal
This post takes us back to the beginning. I started this blog to let family in St. Louis know how our Jumba was doing. He was so cute that I wanted to show family what he looked like. I wanted to share with family how we were doing.
The first post of this blog was when Jumba was just a few weeks old. He was never satisfied so we added some cereal to his schedule and it did the trick. He loved it. This blog's very first post was the first time he ate cereal. His nickname back then was Cowboy. I wrote about it.
Today so much of the scenario is the same. Everyone wants to be there to share in the first feeding. It was a moment. The twins both liked the rice.

I love these kids. They were all there when the babies were having trouble in NICU. They were all there when we brought them home. The siblings are all there for the good and the bad times. These babies were born into something very special.
