Day Five Cathedral/Basilica St. Louis and New Baby

Yes, that is another Steak N Shake - Pooker insisted.
We did not have time for the Arch so instead we decided on a quick trip of the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis.  If you follow the blog you might remember that I don't love Houston's Cathedral.
This puts the "Fabio Jesus" facing the highway to shame.  I understand that St. Louis has years more of history and time to invest into this gorgeous building . . .but this is so beautiful.

Here is the Chair that John Paul II sat in during his visit to St. Louis.  It is Bullet prove and bomb resistant.  It weighs close to a ton.  J was in charge of it during that visit before the Mass with JP II.

We headed quickly to airport in hopes that we had not been site seeing for too long.  After hugs and kisses for Pooker the rest of us drove to Aunt Nikki and Uncle Jim's house.

This is the beauty they get to see at the end of their street.  I think they picked a majestic spot for their home.
Welcome to the world little Declan.  He was so much fun to cuddle.

We all loved have time with J's family.

Not to mention cousin and baby time.
Dad also liked playing on the floor.  He told us he was playing with Georgie but I don't see George!

Thank you God for your giving us time to adore you in a beautiful church and then with beautiful
