What will I see here?

Take a peek into our life as a big family in Houston, TX. Welcome to the electronic journal for the Texas T family. This blog was created to share some moments of our life with you. Often having 11 children, homeschooling, and being incredibly active in our Catholic faith we are asked “How do you do it?” We invite you to look around, sign up as a follower, and peek into the answer to that question. Remember we are not a perfect family; but I won't post the bad stuff.

I can't wait for June to be over!

Kids Say the Darnedest Things! Friday
Check out some great stories on a blogger friends website by clicking the words above. This is our Friday contributions:

Pickle: I can't wait for June to be over!

This statement was made the other evening, out of the clear blue. The older kiddos were all in the room and we turned to Pickle in a completely confused state. Our biggest issue being that it isn't even June yet and another issue was how random the comment was to the rest of us.
Finally someone asked what he was talking about . . .

"I just can't wait for all those June Bugs to go away again."
Made much more sense now that we could understand where the thought came from.

  1. ha! sometimes they think things through and then just state the last part of their thought process. it makes sense to the speaker but not always to the audience!

  2. Well June may not be here yet, but one could wish it was over already if they thought the bugs would be over with it! :) The sentences that come out of my mouth don't always make sense either, even though they made sense before they left my head! It's a mushy-mommy-mind thing. :D

Hope to see you again--love your stories! :)

  3. While you probably have nice weather year round, those of us up north are looking forward to those June bugs especially after the winter we had! Feel free to send some our way :)
