You were born on Good Friday. Even your birth started with a little trauma. As you were being delivered you were not turning. The doctors were no where around. The nurse calmly looked at your dad and said that you, his unborn daughter needed his help. "Here is her shoulder I need you to gently help this baby to turn as she enters the birth canal. We don't have time to wait for help, if you want her born safely you will do this."
Your dad smiled and guided your shoulders as the nurse prepared to "catch"you. It was a beautiful birth and we were so happy when we heard you cry.
From the first moment of you life you have been strong, determined, and kind. You love without condition and without limitations. You are never afraid. You never hesitate to interact with anyone. You seam to not see all the issues that make most children avoid people. Old people, wheelchair bound people, or people with deformities don't faze you in the least. You see the soul and not the issues. That is a gift that continues to develop.
I have learned so much from you and am so thankful to be your mom.
Happy 10Th b-day dear Moogie!
