I knew that I would not be able to sleep. We still have power, obviously. The winds are starting to pick up now. We have had a little bit of rain. Nothing bad yet. I haven't watched the reports for several hours. I balanced the check book instead. That is a good distraction and a great time killer. Anyway our last loud of laundry in waiting to go into the dryer. I doubt it will make it. J and all the little ones are sleeping in our safe room. The big kiddos are hanging out with me in the bed room watching two of our favorite shows. Monk and Psych. Two funny shows were a great distractions.
Winds are supposed to be getting bad right now. I think the eye is hitting land. It will pass right over us in the next 12 hours. I hear it is better after the eye but not over. I hope I can write to you all on the flip side. I doubt it. I am shocked we have power still. I know it will go at any minute. Oh well. Sleep well!
