Photo Session

Sugar decided to set up a photo shoot with the babies and mom's good camera.  She was babysitting the younger crowd and they spent most of their time that afternoon taking pictures of the twins.  She got some really great shots.  I am glad she did it, now I just need to get the whole family in on a photo shoot.  Adorable is in Brown top and Beautiful is in the Green top.

Pictures of a cake will need to be in a separate post.  We bought one but dropped it before we could sing or get picture, then Thanksgiving was upon us, so we will have a cake in a few days.

So Proud

The older four came up to me last week and asked if they could take a train to St. Louis.  Aside from the fact that I was still dealing with pain from a Kidney Stone, I must have been out of it completely.  I agreed to this plan.  

 Why did the kids want to go?  Their friend, Katie - they met her on a March for Life trip had just had a very difficult surgery.  This young 19 year old was in a lot of pain and was having a very hard time.

 My compassionate kids  spent their own hard earned money to board a bus, transfer to a train, to serve her and her family for a weekend while Katie healed.  Fr. Tom met them at the train station and their adventures began.

I was told by Father that he was very proud of them.  He watched Pooker help Katie's mom with day to day chores, Bear played with Katie's younger siblings while Sugar and Goobers sat with Katie taking care of her needs giving her mom a little rest.  They really are great kiddos and their dad and I are extremely proud of each of them!!

Still That Cute

Love that twin thing.  It can be seen so much in these November shots of the two of them.  They are always so close, they are usually touching.  Notice they comfort each other, they hold hands and in the last picture they share even more.

So I was sitting at the computer next to the babies' crib.  The twins were cooing and talking to each other for awhile when all of the sudden Beautiful let out a cry.  I looked over to see Adorable "teething" on Beautiful's foot.  I guess that there is nothing that one twin will not share with her sister.

J is Moving On

So much has been happening lately but I don't want this moment to pass without recognition. After 11 plus years of working for BIC, J made a difficult decision.  He will be leaving his position with BIC for an opportunity with another company.  This was a hard choice to make.  J loved his company and co-workers.  In the end it was the lack of advancement opportunities that prompted his move.   So he says good bye to so many friends, clients and customers that he has grown close to.  We have always been so thankful for his time with such a wonderful company.

 Consider yourself lifted from the ban on Sharpie and Gillette products. Now you need to find some very specific cleaning supplies.  AlEn USA is J's new employer.  He took the position of Southwest Regional Manager of Sales.  J is looking forward to making the most of this opportunity using all of his experience.  Good luck J, we know you will do extremely well!

On a side note we have been using the laundry detergent for about three weeks now and everyone has great smelling clothes.

Making A Countdown To Christmas

What to do with all that Halloween Candy?  A question all moms ask the day after the kids go trick or treating.  Sugar decided that she would organize some countdowns to Christmas.  I got the supplies and Sugar went to work (trying to work around Bear and Possible)

The end results are pretty cool.

Vote!

Knowing that we had a busy schedule the next week we took the afternoon to early vote!  This was Goobers very first time to vote and it was the first time either one could vote for a president.  We take this civil duty very strongly and it was an enjoyable afternoon.  J and the girls and I voted and then got lunch to celebrate.  No matter the outcome we are proud to be a part of this wonderful country!
