LifeTeen Blessing for Seniors

The last LifeNight for this group of young kiddos.  They are about to leave us and take on the world.  During this LifeNight the graduating seniors all came forward and after a few of them gave their testimonies the rest of the crowd then prayed over the seniors.  We offered them a blessing.

Pooker's New Job

 Pooker changed jobs a few months back.  Here she is with her bosses.  She is still an EMT on the weekends.  These are good people she is working with.  I am so proud of this young woman.

Possible Gets Her License

I really never thought this day would come.  Possible is the most determined little lady I have ever met.  Nothing was going the way it should.  All the paperwork was not printing because our home printer was broken.  she had me sent it to her and then onto Goobers.  She then had Goobers meet us after we singed in and sat in line.  We were late and it took for ever to get through all the paperwork.  When they told her to go get her car and pull around I about passed out.  I thought for sure that it would not work out.  Goobers brought the stuff, Sugar let her use the car that we have assigned to Sugar, and Possible didn't flinch.

I am was so nervous while she took her test.

Goobers was the loving proud big sister who stood watch as Possible parallel parked.  She sent this text out as she watched.

  She just backed in to the spot like a boss!

Goobers was ready to grab a shot as she returned from her actual driving test.  She had a huge grin on her face.

Yep it is official.  Possible is now a legal driver - well once we add her to the insurance that is.

Way to go Possible.  We are super proud of you.

Allergic Reaction after 9 1/2 Months

Another reaction.  This poor young woman.  She was hugged by someone at LifeTeen and the next thing we knew . . . off to the ER.  Our poor Sugar is too allergic.

Lenten Friends Have Easter Party

We had spent our Lent growing in prayer with each other so it was only right to celebrate Easter with each other.  

Our festive Ham spread . . .  It was delicious.

We have been blessed with some really great friends.

Priests VS Seminarians

One of the young priests had a desire to encourage vocations while getting some exercise.  Fr. Preston's idea was fabulous.  He organized an huge competition game between a team of the priest against a seam of Seminarians.  He got permission to use a high school gym on the first Friday after Easter.  Timing was perfect, as the priest and the seminarian are all looking for ways to unwind after the Lent season.  This was incredible.  I don't think Father was prepared for the turnout.  The gym was packed full.  Various parish came to support their priest or seminarian or both with signs, cheers, t-shirts, and even some huge head posters.  We had a blast.  The hope is that next year it will be even bigger.  Thanks for the fun way to spend a Friday night!  Oh the priest won by the way.  It was a close game always just points away from each other.  

Making Otter Progress

The kids continued to give it their all the rest of the week.  Friday came and I can't say we had wonderful new swimmers but we did have two girls learning a lot with the help of their older siblings.  

These two are nuts, but beautiful.
