Pickle and I started at Saint Louis Bread Company (not Panera)! Then with Miss Brenda we headed to Lone Elk park. We visited the Bird Sanctuary (which I had never seen) and then drove through the beautiful grounds of Lone Elk (which I know quit well from my childhood).
So it became time for Mass. We headed to St. Louis Basilica. I was only in town for a very short time. I needed to see a beautiful church and this one always fits that bill. So much beauty!
Pickle requested that we visit the seminary. More beautiful buildings.
Ted Drews was the next fun stop. I am always happy to enjoy a yummy concrete.
We stopped at Friar Tucks to check out all the wines and beers. It was a fun little stop giving us some ideas for Christmas gifts.
The day ended with another St. Louis Favorite: Rich and Charles- YUMMY!
