Mosaic Study

As we were studying art we came to the chapter on mosaics.  I have always been intrigued by mosaics.  After reading about them in class we decided that we might want to try to create some ourselves.    

We did not fancy ourselves as great artists but decided would try a simple stepping stone.

The end result is not the masterpiece I had envisioned but it did turn out pretty cool.  The kids did it and learned in the process.  Mosaic designs are much harder than they look.  That did bring a new appreciation to the process and to the end results.  So lesson learned!
