Easter outfits = Hard Work

First we must pick the color and that alone can be agreed upon only after many text messages, phone calls and preliminary store adventures.  This is not an easy task at all.  Tis year coral was the color but only after 250 text messages in one evening and an argument or two later in the week.

Not this year Jumba, maybe Christmas we will choose a flag theme.
The first dress purchased look extremely cute on all of the girls yet it was returned.  The girls did not love it.  That is the sad truth about all this shopping, sometimes much of it is returned.
Dad recommended that we pick denim instead of any other color but the girls out ruled him stating that jeans were not proper for Easter Mass.
They did find some cute dresses though.  I am always amazed at the effort that goes into the matching outfits.  I thought the kids hated it until I found that they actually love the end results.  They do most of the work now. I think it is part of what makes them all so close.  They work together, they sacrifice their time and money, they argue and work through the difficulties.  The end result is beautiful!

WGU

Family news is that Goobers decided to switch her major to business and switch to an online school.  Bear having finished at St. Gregory with the school clog was forced to move on.  He is decided to make the most of his time waiting for seminary classes to start  He is working on his MBA he also picked on online school.  Both are following Pooker's example.  They have chosen Western Governors University, AKA WGU.  I could not be prouder of these two.  They have chosen good paths.  I am sure they will both succeed.

Goobers:

Pooker did a great job of acknowledging this on her own facebook page:
"Shout out to Goobers and Bear! They both started at WGU and are killing it. Bear has finished three classes in a month already for his MBA and Goobers has started ticking away at her Business degree. Goobers’s schedule is so flexible now and it’s so nice. Bear is off at a parish in OK, and he’s still able to get his classes done. It’s good to know that the business school is working for people as well! Proud of you both."

If you are interested in the WGU follow this link for a referral from Pooker.  Pooker would recommend this school and now so do Goobers and Bear.  I am one proud mom!

Twin School Work

The kids must all do some school work each day.  I don't require a lot of school work but these little Kindergarteners get to do some of that daily work on they Kindles.  They are required to spend time each do on their IXL math drills and time exploring the alphabet and more on ABC Mouse.

Sometimes they fight me on doing any work at all but most of the time I will find them cuddled up somewhere each doing their work.  It is in these quiet moments that I love homeschooling.  I love seeing them being persistent even if they are not enjoying the task.  So many things in life just have to be done.  Without realizing it these two are making huge progress in what they are learning by little steps each day.

Twin Beautiful Is Not A Baby

I remember loosing my first tooth.  I remember feeling overwhelmed with fear and excitement all at the same time.  Few things in life have brought that same feeling.  I think that is really can be a big moment in a child's life. Twin Adorable lost her first tooth back in January and that has left us waiting for Twin Beautiful to loose her first tooth.  It is official now, another milestone passed.  We no longer have a baby in the family.
