Prayers for the Unborn and their Protectors!

Today I am extremely thankful. I am so thankful that I was raised in a pro-life home, where the value of my life and my siblings was never a question. I am glad that my husband and I have always stood together on this issue and hav...e welcomed 11 souls born into this world and 2 more going right to heaven. I am thankful for one my best friends in life, Fr.Tom, who I met 25 years ago on a bus to Washington DC. I am thankful for a high school friend, Muffy that took me and my sister on our first March for Life, fostering in me a life long commitment to prayer, sacrifice and love of all the unborn. I am forever grateful for every March for Life that I was blessed enough to go on, even the year of the '87 Blizzard. Today I pray for my kiddos and friends that are in Washington DC today to stand up for life, stay warm and safe! I pray for all the people that I met over the years on the trips, may you all be close to God. I am also thankful for my Pooker, Goobers, and Bear who have done everything possible to make the trip this year to tell our officials and the world that we will not stand for this.

Please join me in praying for all the unborn today, that our country might wakeup and change it's laws to protect all life from conception to natural death.  Pray also for all the people that are in DC today.  The weather looks like it will compare to Blizzard of 87 with the snow and low temperatures.

Shhhhhh We Are At The Library

We took everyone to the library.  We only spent a little time there, but we did have fun together.  With all my young readers everyone loved going off to find their own selections.  Before leaving the twins had some fun with a pack of stickers.  Here Goobers and Twin Beautiful decorate.

I love my crowd.  No matter where we go, we are a crowd.  We are polite, we are neat and we are always kind and gracious.

We are not always quiet.

Sugar Is In College

The first day was finally here.  I am so proud of this girl.  She is started College at just 17.  She will do well in life.  I know it seams silly but I do struggle with them going off to their first day of real school.  I don't think it matters when it is, the first day is always harder on mom than the student.

One reason Sugar wanted to start a semester early was that she wanted the time with her siblings.  I love that.  Good luck guys, I know you will make us proud.

"Terrors"

I love my precious little twin terrors.  I stand by that title for them.  They get into everything.  At least they do it together.  These are just "the climbing" pictures.  I don't take the time to capture "the throwing our clothes, crayons, toys, shoes, food or anything we get our hands on" pictures.

I realize that the quality of these pictures is awful, but I just can't take the time to get the good camera out in these situations.

I love these precious sleeping babies, especially when they are sleeping.  LOL.  Actually I love them all the time.  They are funny.  They love life.  I can't even believe how much fun they have together.  They call the other when they discover something fun, and then share it.  These two have added so much joy to our home!

So Proud of Sugar

Sugar is headed to college.  I know I have stated it before but I just had to grab another shot when she got her student ID.  She graduated from T Homeschool Academy and is now ready to take college classes.  She actually graduated early so she could start college ahead of schedule.

The girl has a dream.  Dad and I are so proud of you Sugar!

Ice In Houston - God must love me!

This never happens.  We had several days in a row of cold-cold weather.  It was cold-cold for us anyway.  I realize that much of the country had below zero temperatures at this time but for us we hardly ever get below freezing and have it stay that way for a more than one night at a time.  We actually had about 3 days of this cold weather.  I loved it.  When I ran an errand on the last morning I found that a sprinkler in the gold course must have tried to spray over night.  What was left behind was something so beautiful that I have not seen in years, ice on the trees.  I love the way it looks when everything is covered in ice.  I know that it is hard on the trees and the power lines and such but it can be so beautiful.  Here is was only on the lower edge of the trees.  I had to pull over and take some shots with my phone.  I am glad I did because within an hour the temperatures were above freezing and the beautiful glitter that only ice can produce was all melted.

So pretty!  I am sorry for those that are stuck in very cold climates that are suffering right now.  I am stuck is a horrible hot hellish climate and this has been an answer to prayers for me.  Everyone I know is blaming me for the cold weather and I will claim it.  God is listening to me right now.  Leave your prayer requests for me and I will add them in.  (I know God always listens but I am feeling loved again - first the leaves changing color in the Fall season and now a mini ice storm. All this and heaven - man I am blessed.)

Where are they now?

Every picture has Twin Beautiful on the left with Twin Adorable on the right.
Notice the head shaking and the tonged out. They are little buggers.

When asked to climb over so we could get them down Adorable would scoot as far back as she could and shake her head no while Beautiful would pat the space next to her while motioning us come up and join her. They scare me. I am outnumbered and they are smart.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
