Possible Being Captured In Pictures

Possible and DoLo work together. Their boss shared these pictures of the two. One was Possible putting up the TX flag at his pool and the other was at a fundraiser. DoLo's dad offered Possible a ticket and she went with her friend. These girls are so cute and have such big hearts!

Mom's Birthday

The kids always make sure I have a great birthday! I didn't want to go out or take any pictures, I am very glad that I was feeling so much better. At least I could eat the cake.

Pooker and JavaJava sent this book so that I can share with their kiddos. I will enjoy taking moments here and there, to make a record for my grand baby.

One of my gifts was a bouquet of flowers. There are exactly 13 flowers in that bunch. My Possible always gives me this for my birthday. She gives me 11 pink ones to represent each of my children on earth and 2 white ones to represent the two babies that we lost and that are in heaven.

More gifts included coke candy and a bear! They know what will make me happy. Great kiddos.

One of my gifts was the white snow. I love it and so do my huskies.

The week between getting back from NOLO and my birthday was a bad one for me. I had a high fever, felt tired but J was in traveling so much that I still had to get up and drive the kids around. It was only bad at night. One night I took some ibuprofen and found not stop the chills. I shook in bed for about 25 minutes. Finally the fever broke and then I was just tired. I felt much better the next day and after picking J up from the airport I took the weekend to recoup. He was in charge and I rested.

My Queens of Narnia

We are reading the Narnia Series with the twins and Jumba. I just love C.S.Lewis. He knows so much about Our Lord and it shows in the Narnia series. One can not read the series and not want to try Turkish Delight, or to feel the need for a sword and a Tiara. The fun thing is that the older kids all kit into the act.

Trade Show

Today J and I caught an early Mass and then headed to the trade show. Today I helped him, really I just sat with him. It was very quiet. We had a good day talking about the world, current events, our kids and economy and this weird thing that some are taking about - the Wuhan Virus. There are some odd predictions and precautions that they are starting to talk about.

Dinner With Westhoff's

Jim picked Julie and I up from Jans and took us into the city while avoiding the Mardi Gras traffic.

It was great fun to sit with our friends and swap stories.

I love these guys, thanks for going to New Orleans to have dinner with us. Happy Valentine's Day to our dear friends.

Valentine and Mardi Gras Parade

I don't understand why any organization would have a big event that would on over Valentine's Day weekend. RUDE! Oh well at least I got to go with J this time. We had a blast. (Until the Uber driver took two hours to pick us up and needed us to walk three blocks to get to her, then dropped us off another 10 blocks from our hotel.) UGH, the street issues that are involved with Mardi Gras will discourage us from visiting again during carnival season.

I love this guy! We have spent many a Valentine together. I am one lucky woman!

The Nicene Creed

Immaculate Virgin Mary, Mother of God and Mother of the Church you are also our Mother of Perpetual Help. With hearts full of love for you we consecrate ourselves to your Immaculate Heart so that we may be your devoted children. Obtain for us true sorrow for our sins and fidelity to the promises of our Baptism. We consecrate our minds and hearts to you that we always do the Will of our heavenly Father. St. Joseph ~ Pray For Us!

St. Bernard of Clairvaux

St. Bernard of Clairvaux wrote to a couple that had a miscarriage. In response to their question, “What is going to happen to my child? The child didn’t get baptized,” St. Bernard said, “Your faith spoke for this child. Baptism for this child was only delayed by time. Your faith suffices. The waters of your womb — were they not the waters of life for this child? Look at your tears. Are they not like the waters of baptism? Do not fear this. God’s ability to love is greater than our fears. Surrender everything to God.”

St. Jude ~ Pray For Us!

St. Anthony of Padua ~ Pray For Us!

Holy Saint Anthony, gentle and powerful in your help, your love for God and charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were always ready to request for those in trouble or anxiety. Encouraged by this thought, I implore you to obtain for me (request). The answer to my prayer may require a miracle. Even so, you are the Saint of miracles. Gentle and loving Saint Anthony, whose heart is ever full of human sympathy, take my petition to the Infant Savior for whom you have such a great love, and the gratitude of my heart will ever be yours.
