Protective Dogs

These dogs never leave our side. Late at night the dogs perked up and barked at the back door.  I turned on lights and after awhile opened the door.  The dogs ran around, sniffed around and then came back in and fell back to sleep.  Being that dad was out of town and I was too tired to care, I admit that I was very thankful for my watchdogs.  Honestly they would have probably licked any intruder to death but at least we didn't need to find out because of the barking.
