We had heard from all our friends that were in St. Louis about how big a deal this was. It was so very rare. Our extended family and friends back in St. Louis were planning all kinds of fun! They were having viewing parties, school event, and tickets to watch at the park were selling out of seating. Houston was not in the path of "totality" so we saw only a partial eclipse.
