First Friday Park Time

Our Homeschool group meets after First Friday Mass each month at a local park.  This is just to give the kiddos a chance to play.  It is always a nice break from the routine to play with peers.  The same is true for me.  I think we go for me and not for the kiddos.  Being at home all the time can leave a mom feeling disconnected.  I think times like these are crucial for mom's sanity.   

 

Like always we were running late this morning so I did not get a chance to pack any food.  I just didn't want our time out of the house to end so I asked Mrs. W if she and C wanted to join us at Chick-fil-a.  Our lucky day because we got to meet the cow.

This was a fun afternoon.  Mrs. W and I got to talk while the kiddos got to play in the play place.  My little ones are not babies any more.  They use the door to get and out of play area.  They are just getting so big. We all loved having time with our friends.
