Down in Houston these pine trees are a curse word. I thought it would be great living with so much shade, I was wrong. We have nothing put an endless supply of needles. They never stop. The trees are way to tall to help out and we just sit in fear of one snapping when the wind picks up. I rejoice a little when they die. They are very expensive to get rid of thought and you can't do it your self. The trees are just way to tall. We got to spend an afternoon watching one come down this week. The service cut the tree but didn't haul it away. We are doing that ourselves very slowly.
I love that the kids set this up themselves. They are prepared for the cooler weather and the use of the firepit (I don't believe we will ever see the temperature go down.) The kids are always thinking.
