In February our family focus will be on three events that we all enjoy. Mom and Dad always go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans. Dad is on the Orpheus Krewe, meaning he is in that parade. The kids enjoy this time with mom and dad gone and the children rule the house. The month always ends with my birthday. Getting older isn't easy but I do get to share it with the most wonderful people on the planet.

What will I see here?

Take a peek into our life as a big family in Houston, TX. Welcome to the electronic journal for the Texas T family. This blog was created to share some moments of our life with you. Often being pregnant with twins while already having 9 children, homeschooling, and being incredibly active in our Catholic faith we are asked “How do you do it?” We invite you to look around, sign up as a follower, and peek into the answer to that question. Remember we are not a perfect family; but I won't post the bad stuff.
Thanks for visiting, Neen

Good Bye 2011 - Hello 2012!!!

What a Great Night.  It was different because Pooker was gone, but she did Skype us.  Mom fell asleep long before midnight but the kiddos did wake me up in time.  As the kids were running out the front door to watch fireworks from a neighbor, I heard someone say this will be even more fun with two babies next year.  2011 was full of surprises.  I think that we do a good job of taking the bad news and making the best of it.  We also had some woderful things come our way.  God surprises us all the time.  We look forward to the many surprises that 2012 will hold.
Happy New Year.
May God Bless you and your family!
Happy 2012!
