Stations - Pizza

We hosted the first week.  I was a little sad thinking that we should have been long moved out before Lent.  No, sadly we are still here.

So many friends came over tonight to pray with us.  Living here in Houston has had many benefits.  We have been so blessed to have so many loving faithful friends.

That is Just Weird

Imagine our surprise when a friend saw our family picture as part of her presentation.  She asked her professor who said that he had just searched for big families.  We got similar results the we tried it.

"Be Our Guest"

Fr. Tom From STAOP and I were invited to be the guests for Third Thursday Theology.

This means we were treated to a delicious dinner and then got to watch several of the teens from Ms Peggy's group to share their official speeches.  Many of these kids were also in my Catholic Coffee Club.  I know them and adore them.  They are so well formed.  Father and I were in for a delightful treat!

Another Showing

It is so weird when you are on Facebook and your own house comes up in the advertisements.  It has only happened one time.  Not sure it that a was why but We do have a showing.

We headed to the park to pass our time.

Sadly no offer.  Ugh, it does get old preparing the house to be seen.  So much work for a clean house that does not lead to anything.  Some day we will sell our home and move, until then we will enjoy another park day!

Valentines Day (Ash Wednesday)

Considering today is Ash Wednesday as well as Valentines Day we will have to wait until tomorrow to enjoy dad's Valentine's treats.

Sugar sent notes.  It was a fun day all around.  We will begin our journey closer to Christ while celebrating our love for each other.  This year our valentine is none other than Christ Himself.

Do As the Romans

All I do is share the photos that Bear has shared with us.
I know that Bear and Fr. Keller had a good trip.  Bear grew in faith and trust in God.

Fr. Keller had to head back to the states before Bear so he was stranded alone for the day.  He contacted the seminarians from Oklahoma City that are at the Pontifical North American College.

These two young men invited Bear to spend the afternoon with them, they showed him the American School Seminary School in Rome and answered a million questions that Bear has about his path.  Seeing these young men was a gift from God.

Bear returns home on Ash Wednesday.

We loved hearing his stories. God is clearly calling him to trust in Him more and more.  So many beautiful stories on this trip.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
