Making Otter Signs

We decided to bring one tradition from our old team to this new team.  We decided to make a little encouraging sign for each member that was swimming in the post season invitationals.  We wanted Our Otter Signs to be a complete surprise so we asked our friends from the B family to help us make the designs.  Then we started cranking them out, I think that in the end we made around 66.

Baseball Sibling Style

Pooker got a bunch of tickets for the kids to all enjoy a game together.  They had a blast.

I don't think it matters what these kids do together they make the most of their time together.   

Reaching Goals

Bagel is a very strong leader and for years she has set a goal for herself to break a team record.  Well she finally did it.  She was able to do this and earn our long standing family prize of an IPOD touch.  The really team continued to break their own record each time.

So these girls broke the old team record for 100 yard Free Relay and then they broke their own record at the FOST dual meet and again at Divisionals. They are an amazing group of swimmers.   Way to go girls!

The team site lists her name now.  It is official.  She did it.

Otter Award Night

Then Coach Bear had his team race against the other coaches teams.

 Bear stacked the team with mostly T-Family members even though Goobers coaches another team.
 
 They came in 2nd place and did a wonderful job!!

This was a great season for the Otters and for the T Family Otters.  The kids all swam great this year. It was a fun year all around.  Bear is a great coach and even though we missed having Goobers as our couch we had fun.
