Mother's Day Dinner

Slow cooking ribs smelled so good all day. It was wonderful when it was time for dinner.

Everything was so yummy. I loved having many of my babies around me for dinner. I just adore my people.

Ok this proves that the kids know me so well!
Today was a wonderful day!  Happy Mother's Day, may God bless each of you as he has for me!

Last Sunday On Complete Lockdown In St. Charles

So St. Louis had said they are waiting until May 15th but St. Chalres said they are lifting some restrictions on May 4. Not sure how this will all play out but I did want to make the most of our last totally restricted Sunday without dates and kiddos running off to meat others outside the house.
Anticipated Mass 4-25
Anticipated Mass 4-25
Sunday 4-26
We started with Mass.

We gathered personal care items and food to donate local food pantry through ICD.

We enjoyed a wonderful and delicious breakfast made by dad.

We drank mimosas,  bloody marys and fruit juiced depending on our age.

We enjoyed spending time together over breakfast.

We talked to everyone on the phone.

We got a blessing from each priest in the drive through at Icd,

had our salt blessed and exorcised,

and received holy water from the church,

and handed in our donations.

This was a full Sunday. It will soon be a thing of the past so we wanted to enjoy our Covid designed Sunday!
Happy Sunday, I hope it is filled with family and new traditions.

Easter Breakfast

J made a huge big breakfast going for the kids as usual, I decided to make mimosas and bloody marys.

The bunny this year took hiding the eggs to the next level. Eggs were found in hollowed out fruit.

We heard that they were not having drinks in Texas but were also enjoying a big special breakfast.
These meals are the best part of Holidays!

Happy Easter!

Easter Surprises Have Arrived

Larry and Kat are Twin Adorable's God parents. They are always there for our family. We were shocked when a big package arrived from the T family. Larry sent more toilet paper, thank goodness. Under the tp we found Easter treats for the family and some very special Easter treats for the twins. Under those treats was a gift for the entire family. Ribs and brisket that were slow cooked in a TX style were sent to be a part of our Easter celebration. Larry always takes care of us.

Wanting to be with the other kids and mourning the loss of the dog was weighing heavy on all of us. Pooker sent a thank you for the small gift J and I sent her way.

Love you all!  Hopefully you are growing closer to Christ.

WHATABURGER Treat for Everyone

One of the things we miss a lot from TX is WhatABurger. Remember we dressed up like WhataBurger numbers one year for Halloween. The burgers are big and yummy. The fries are thin. The chicken sandwiches with a little honey butter are to die for. J and I decided that our souvenir for the kiddos back in St. Louis would be to take them this treat home. I can't tell you how wonderful the people were to us. We told them what we were doing and that we had a large family. They got us insulated bags and marketing trinkets to share with the kiddos.

The kids were surprised and we all enjoyed a very yummy meal. Missing Houston and all our friend and all our favorite foods.

Thank you WHATABURGER for another happy memory.
