Mimi Is Cheering On Jumba

Jumba has a local game.  Uncle Jo-Fish brought Mimi to the game because he knew it was close to her house and that she would enjoy seeing a game.  We all had fun watching Jumba play and Dad help coach.

Possible Celebrates Finishing Classes for Semester

Possible wears her emotions on her sleeve and today she was actually giddy. She had finished her glasses. She signed herself up for several summer courses so it will be a short lived break. We all enjoyed the break with her. We were glad to enjoy the moments with her.  Thank you Possible for always including all of us in your life.

Lindenwood is Out for Summer

The semester is coming to a close.  

Sugar will miss school and the extended family.  She has has a blast playing with cousins.

She also loved bing a member of CAB and getting to make new friends.

Now the semester was over.  Dad was in town for business and would be bringing her home to Texas.

They took a quick shopping trip with Mimi and then headed home!

We can't wait to hug you.

We were thrilled when they arrived safely and bringing a fun treat for everyone from St. Louis.

BUT please don't make a mess, we are supposed to have an open house this weekend!

Float Time

Mom and Dad left town, what should we do?  How about a float trip. 

I can't believe how hot it is!

Sadly it will last until Mid-November!  My goodness I hate the heat.  People with one or two kids say things like, "Just stay inside while it is hot out." or "Aren't you glad you can keep your house so cool!"  I wish !!!!!   Let me tell you where I spend most of my time . . . in the car.  Everyone always needs a ride here or there, or food, or doctors or something that requires me to leave my cool home.  If complaining helped I would keep going but we all know it doesn't so I will do my best to grin and bear it while praying that this is the last summer I have to spend in Houston!

My goodness the car gets hot while I am inside cooling off between jots out and about.

Week Long Covecrest Adventure

Not one of these pictures is mine.  There were all taken from the LifeTeen Covecrest page or from our parish youth ministry page.  Covecrest is a week long summer Catholic camp.  This is the first a T family member ever went.  Possible saved her money to make this trip and Pooker was asked to go as a chaperone.

Daniel and Pooker have been friends since they met in confirmation class years ago.  It is good to see them together again.

We were glad to get them home.  We are all unfinished in this world.  This group of young people went off to learn about their faith and grow in their friendships with each other .  .  . and now that they are home they are clean again.
