Some Went to TX

Goobers, Possible, and Bagel reorganized their lives so that they could go visit Pooker and JavaJava. Pooker is getting bigger everyday with that baby! The first stop was WhatA Burger ad then a bunch of other familiar type adventures. 

They had Mexican food, slumber parties, learned all they could about the brewery.

The Six Brothers Brewery was established by JavaJava and his brothers. They have been creating their own beers for a few years and opened the brewery last year. Pooker and JavaJava decided to move to Abilene to be near JavaJava's family and to help brew the beer.

To this crowd there is nothing better than a little sister time.

TX Kids Leaving Houston

Family news. The kids have made the difficult decision to move away from Houston. Goobers will be moving to St. Louis. She will live with us until she finds work and a new home. We are thrilled. The younger kiddos can not wait until she is here with us. The happy couple has decided to move to Abilene, TX to be near JaveJava's family. He and his brothers own a brewery, he and Pooker hope to help run it for a few years. I was sent pictures to help send them off. 

Texas - We Have Arrived

The next morning we got up and headed to TX. After stopping to get some pictures across the state line we headed to Houston to meet up with Pooker and Goobers. 

Ironically we ran into loads and loads of traffic just after we got into TX. So glad we moved.

The comfort of an old friend, Buc-ee's.  

JavaJava and Pooker met Goobers and the rest of us at the Olive Garden. We had a great meal. It was awesome seeing these people! I love my kiddos.

Heading to TX and Stopping in OKC

Another trip with J. We were psyched to join dad for this one. We are headed to Texas. Jumba and the twins couldn't wait to go and Bagel agreed to join us as well. 

I always try to grab a car photo as we drive away while we pray for our safety on the road and for those we left behind.  Bagel and Jumba hide for the picture but they were there.

We stopped in OKC for the first night and met up with Bear for dinner. 

Another Call With Goobers

The kids miss Goobers so much! FaceTime calls with her are often captured to be remembered. She brings so much joy to all of us!  

Spring Road Trip

We left the big kids behind and decided to hang to with dad as he had to visit some customers up north. We piled into the car with the Twins and Jumba and headed out. WE were struck with how bad the flooding was this year. There really was so much devastation  just a little further north and west than we live in St. Charles MO.  So much water everywhere. 

Road trips are fun when you add in snacks.

 We were so excited to get to swing by Chuys on our way through Kansas City.

To us it is a taste of TX.

Tried to Say Goodbye to Goobers

Time to send Goobers back to Texas.  Pooker and her hubby drove back already, Bear was only in town for the wedding, and now we had to send Goobers off.  It was a little heart breaking having her leave!  WE love the visits so much.  

That smile right there still melts my heart and will forever.
