Apple Visit

I giggle when I see this picture because it reminds me of the visit to the Apple Store. The conversation was hysterical because J had left his phone in his pocket during the washing machine.  AG+  Apple Genius
J   "I need to check my phone to see if it will still work."
AG        "What happened to it sir?"
J   "It got wet?"
AG        "Did it fall into water, completely submerged or just splash with a quick pick up?"
J   "Fell in?"
AG        "Toilet, sink, pool, washing machine?"
J   "Washing Machine?
AG        "Full cycle, sir?"
J    "Uhhhh yes?"
AG        "OK Nothing we can do but order a new phone!"
J    "But isn't it water proof!"
AG        "Not the full cycle, sir!"

J help is head high knowing he was not the only one to have done the same thing. I giggled at the conversation, though.

Pre-Thanksgiving

The R family would not be with us the next day for Thanksgiving so Nanny and Gramps host a huge pre-thanksgiving meal. We loved having all the cousins together. They are so much fun. We also loved seeing aunts and uncles and dad's cousins that we had not seen in years and years. 

J loved being with his family again.

S. Louis again = quality time with family.

Small Indy Trip

Dad had another trade show, so Twin Adorable and Twin Beautiful packed their bags and joined us as we ventured into Indianapolis for a few days.

Having just these two with us takes us back to our time with Pooker and Goobers. You can go so many places when your have a small entourage with you. We like it every now and then but mostly we love a bigger crowd to travel with. 

We shopped and saw movies while dad worked. We slept in big beds and enjoyed our mini vacation. We hear that the Texas kids have arrive in St. Louis and are having adventures with he St. Louis kids. We are heading back to enjoy time with the big group.

Birthday Singing At Nanny and Gramps

J was very excited when his Mom and Dad offered a big BBQ to celebrate his birthday and Uncle B's birthday. 

The kids loved having family all around.  So many cousins to run around with.  B's kids are all younger.

J loved begin around his brother and his dad, especially.

Another Brother Matthew

J keeps surprising me with these beautiful Bro Mathew pieces of art work.  He tells me that the goal is to have enough for each child to get their pick.

Bon Jovi With His Girls

Since the Texas T kids could hear music their daddy was teaching them about his favorite music.  Bon Jovi's new releases and old releases are all favorites.  J's kids know them all, old and new.  So when the kids heard that the band was coming to Houston they al got excited.  With such  busy family we thought it wouldn't happen for any of us but Pooker and Goobers decided to treat J to a night out.

Dad has been traveling constantly and was exhausted.  To be honest though he could not be happier.  It wasn't just the music but also the time with the girls.  He is a very proud papa and enjoyed sharing this night with them as much as they enjoyed giving him this very special treat.

Each one of the assured us that Bon Jovi did not disappoint either.  I hear it was a great concert.

Mom and Dad Return

Back at home we were greeted by a happy house full of very loved children.  They love all that sibling time.

JavaJava is into beer making with his brothers.  He brought some for J to taste.  He approves, and enjoyed the beer.

Mrs. W gave me a very cool mug for my birthday.  it changes color when filled with hot coffee.  We left Grand Rapids a little down.  We thought we would be moving there but it doesn't seam like that will be the case.  All of that searching a effort just to let us know that we were looking in the wrong spot.  I drowned my sorrows in a delicious pile of fruit and coffee.
