Frozen II, Movie Time With J's Family

Remember extended family was in town so we decided to get the big group together and head to the movies. We saw Frozen II, the boys were thrilled but played nicely and watched with us.

When you feel overwhelmed or stuck in life, just take the next right step.

Family time is the best time.

Downton Abbey Movie Night

It took us more than one try to get this worked out in our schedule. The TV show was one that we enjoyed together and so J agreed to go to the theater to see the movie. I was so delighted. The movie tied things together and still brought the story forward. All characters were remembered.

If there are movies in the future know they will not contain Gran! This was my favorite.

Thank you J for taking me to see this!

Don't Break the Internet

Going to the movies together is something that we rarely do. It isn't cost effective, but we decided to make it part of our Thanksgiving weekend adventure. We sent Bear off but Goobers was still with us.

The group loved the movie. We actually found the movie to be very cleaver.

And there was a little snow on the ground when we got out. This was not a life changing storm but it did allow us to share our winter fun with Goobers while she was visiting from Texas.

Nutcracker Movie

The movie inspired dancing at the ending.

Girl time with Nanny is always important.
The R girls were still in town from Minnesota. It was fun to go with all the girls.

Bagel Birthday Adventures

Bagel is growing up.  She turns 14 today.  To celebrate she wanted a big movie night.  We all headed to the theater with a few friends (minus JavaJava and Pooker).  When you are in a big family it is rare to spend the money to take everyone out.  We are so glad that we did.  It was just a fun way to relax and enjoy an evening away from packing and preparing for the move.

Did we take up the entire back row?  Well yes.

Happy Birthday Bagel!

Pooker on Facebook:
"Happy birthday to the better girl “D. T-family member! You can steal my stuff anytime; you do the Initals proud. Sorry I missed your day, but know that I think you’re super special and that I love you a lot. You’re a wonderful young woman and watching you grow up has been a true blessing and joy. Just wanted to give you a birthday post. "

Goobers on Facebook:

Psych the Movie

Our family were Psych fans from the beginning of the show.  We all loved the charm and humor.  We were to so excited to learn of the new made for TV movie that was coming.  We kept informed about this exciting event through the Psych the Movie Facebook Page.

As it got closer and the video teasers were coming out we prepared to watch the movie together.

We kept our eye on the site and got ready to enjoy the movie.
What does one eat during a Psyche Movie party?  Pineapples of course.

In truth we enjoyed the hype and the movie.  We liked that some stories closed and others were left open.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
