4th Of July Parade

I love that Possible decided to spend the morning at a local parade and took the younger kiddos with her. Everyone didn't want to brave the heat but Possible didn't stop.

This is a great group of kiddos.

July Nail Time

I love flags, and adore this set of nails.  Go AMERICA!
One of the reasons I wanted to join was that I looked forward to working with other women.  This is a fun product and I am so happy that my meetings are full of wonderful people.

Happy July 4TH

We offered to host a 4th of July celebration. While we still waited for Truck #2 we could enjoy time with the family.

Fr. Tom threw in a house blessing, so we would be good to go.

Then he fireworks began and continued.

It was so nice to celebrate the 4th of July with family.

Family Time

We decided the best way to start our St. Louis life was to go to Mass for the 4th of July.
After Mass we celebrated another meal as a family.

We have so much work to do still. It is good to rest and relax while we enjoy each other's company.

Happy 4th

Days like this remind us to be thankful for family and for our country.  We are so proud to be citizens of this wonderful land.  I know that many of my foreign born friends don't understand and it is very hard to explain.  Then I read on Facebook where my oldest has put it all into words beautifully.  Pooker is a wonderful writer.

  Very well said Pooker!

The kids always make sure we have too many fireworks.

Crazy oldest three kiddos just taking it all in while spending time together.

Getting Ready For the 4th

I just love making this house look and feel festive!

Picking Up Fire Work Mess

One of my biggest pet peeves is when someone has a huge party, or does fireworks and leaves a mess for the entire neighborhood to look at.  The older kiddos pay for all the fireworks so it only seamed fair that I woke up the younger ones to clean it up the next morning.  To be fair they were ready to clean without any coaxing.  I am very proud of them.  It takes a lot of work to pick up the mess after all those fireworks.  They did a great job and clean up is part of the party.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
