and acting goofy. Sugar's friend agreed to meet us at his parish for some social distance family confession time. It was beautiful. He was sitting in a Mary garden and we would walk up one by one. sitting away from him so he was safe. The entire family was able to go to the sacrament of confession. Being away from our Lord for so many weeks now was getting tough. We are praying but it isn't the same. I have no idea what the kids are posing for here, but I love the pictures. Family fun!

Time For Confession
Wednesday, May 9, 2018
Time with Big Girls
Goobers texted that she was heading to confession. I felt like I needed to go. No now would ride with me. After waiting and waiting Father left to say Mass. Goobers and Pooker both joined me for Mass (or I joined them.) We then got back in line. If always feels so good to get to confession and to hear the priest say, "You are absolved!"
We celebrated two sacraments with a little Torchy's Tacos. I loved that I was able to spend time with my two oldest kiddos. I am one blessed mom.

Getting Clean Takes Time
Our parish hosted one last time for confession and we thought we would be in and out. There were 8 priest scheduled. Everyone else thought the same thing. I waited 3 hours and 45 minutes other wanted even longer. We decided to stick around and help entertain some of the kids that had been there all day with their parents in line.
It sure is good having Bear home for Easter break. He played with us too.

"TOE TORRY"
A.K.A. "So Sorry!"
The Twins greeted me bright and early one morning saying that they were so sorry. I asked what they were sorry for. Their response took me for a loop.
"We are toe torry we broke Jesus!"
I was a little confused until I saw the Lenten Decoration. I told the kiddos that it was ok, they just needed to tell Jesus that they were sorry.
I love the innocent ones. These four year olds were driven to tears because they knew that they had done something that would upset me. They said sorry as soon as they woke up. It was forgotten as soon as they told Jesus sorry and I told them they were forgive. Sounds a lot like the Sacrament of Confession to me. I love being Catholic.

First Reconciliation
It was going to be a crazy day and Bear brought a friend with him to meet our family. He wanted his friend to see the St. Louis Basilica. The building is so beautiful. When you walk in your eyes are lifted up to all the artwork. Your soul sores to heaven. This is where Jumba was baptized so many years ago. This was not planned by me but the older kids. They took Jumba there and had Fr. Tom meet them. He had his First Confession heard by the same friend that baptized him in the same church. So Beautiful!!!
Congratulations to Jumba! He now has a fresh clean soul!
