Weekend In Houston

Visiting our old stomping grounds was on our list of things to do, while the kiddos all hung out and enjoyed sibling time.
One of J's favorites is a Bloody Mary for breakfast from Another Broken Egg.  Spicy and Yummy!

Hello, still love Whataburger.
Neighbors are the best.
Kat
The T family had a huge meal for us and some old neighbors on Saturday night.  They are the best.  I regret not getting more pictures!

The purple crew heading out for the day!
The crowd called Bear!
Somebody is learning UNO.
The crowd did a a quick run to Chuy's.  J and I missed this one.

Bagel looking pretty!

Possible and Pickle sent a picture of snow to let us know that a little snow was falling back in St. Louis.

JavaJava and Pooker invited the crowd to their house for a major sleep over. Much fun was had in between movies and UNO.
Visiting our parish home of St. Anthony.
It is good to visit all the places and the people that we were so close to for 16 years.

Advent Begins - Prepare Your Heart

This is the first flyer Mike shared about the upcoming Advent Mission at our parish.  The next one is equally silly.  All kidding aside Mike spent many hours preparing his talks so that he could help the parish members find Christ this advent.

We were able to make it the first night but not after that.  I was so excited when he posted links so that everyone could benefit.  I could not make it every nights but I can listen, and so can you!
I wanted to share the link to the parish page where our dear Mr. Gormley has kindly shared the recorded talks.  I hope that you all enjoy all that Mike shares in his talks, just click here.
Thanks Mike!

Senior Night at STAOP LifeTeen

This was a fun night, but J was very sad that he was out of town.  The seniors were all honored at a special dinner in the youth room with their families present.  The parish also acknowledged all the help the teens had given over the past years.  I was so proud of Sugar.  She is such a loving, unique young woman of God.  It was wonderful to hear about her servant's heart from those in charge at the parish.  I was equally thrilled that no shellfish (or seafood) of any kind was served, thank you.  We were able to enjoy our dinner without any fear.  The night was as beautiful as our Sugar.  Congrats to each of these Seniors and may they continue to seek Christ in all that they do.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
