Steinberg Ice Rink

Ice Skating it not an event that we have done much of in our years. J is worried because he has had a bad back. I took the kiddos to an ice skating rink years ago in Houston. Possible fell on her elbow and needed 3 months of surgeries and recovery to heal. St. Louis has a beautiful open air out door rink that had been apart of St. Louis history for years and years. Steinberg Skating Rink has a rich tradition of being a winter destination for the locals.

The kids didn't know what to expect but were up for another adventure, making new memories.

These two loved skating, probably because they were with their siblings.

Nanny and Gramps Christmas Eve

The Texas T family traditions have changed so much as this is our second year out of Houston. Being around the bigger family means more obligations for holidays. We have enjoyed getting to know our cousins more and growing closer to our grand parents. This is true for both sides of the family. Here we are, able to join in with J's family and their traditions.

Extended family is a GREAT thing!

T-Family R Christmas

I know how much I like getting all my kids together in one place. It happens so rarely for us and ever worse for the next generation up. I suspect Nanny and Gramps were loving this with a full heart.

Everyone was here!

This was not the easiest picture to capture but we are so glad that we did. Everyone in Nanny and Gramp's family is in this picture.

Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner

Thanksgiving was the next say so we spent the evening having a meal at Nanny and Gramp's house. All of dad's siblings were in town for dinner, and most of the grandkids.  Most of them, not all of them were there.
Family time is always so fun.
The conversations, the giggles, and the food make for a fun dinner.

We ended the night playing games together. Thisis what really family time is all about!

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
