I hate all the laundry on the bench behind J but I love this picture of him resting with his girls. They adore this guy so much.
Not sure if I will ever get this camera to work well but at least I am lots of kiddos that will still practice with me.

Back-up camera is back - not good news!
As you can see in these pictures that my news wasn't good yesterday. I was so excited when I got a phone call after 4 weeks that my expensive back-up camera was back at Best Buy for pick up.
I have been using a very cheap $69 camera. After all of the high quality cameras I have used I really hate this cheap little thing. It sucks the battery juice (I use rechargeable AA's), it takes a super long time between possible pictures, and it is hard to get the correct set up. I have been camera spoiled for sure.
My nice Cannon Rebel is broken. We dropped it at Pooker's volleyball came after getting it back from Best Buy repair. Dropping is not covered for the expensive lenses insurance so I obviously am not ready for that camera. That is OK I still have (HAD) my very expensive Sony Cybershot. It was very compact. Not my favorite camera either but it was still nice and I got very comfortable with it.
Apparently we bought the wrong kind of insurance when we purchased this puppy. It didn't include accidental. Why would I have ever bought it then? UGH!!! Now a days Best Buy insurance automatically includes an accidental default clause. That was not the case in 2006 when I purchased this nice camera. The cost to repair was greater than the cost of the camera, nothing was covered so I am stuck with another unusable broken camera. What to do with this one. I let the boys at it. They had a blast looking at it from the inside out.
I am going now to mourn my camera losses.

Computer and Camera Woes
This past month has been one of disappointment in regards to broken technology. The main computer is the one that I keep the books on.
I pay bill with the main computer and I use it for school planning. This computer also holds all the family pictures. A few weeks, as my computer started moving very slowly, J encouraged me to get an external hard-drive with lots of memory. This proved to be a perfect move. I was able to store all my pictures and when the computer completely crashed I wasn't a complete mess.
So I took the now dead computer in to our friend to be worked on. He did his "repairs". I put that in quotes because he replaced tons of things but wasn't able to really repair. Now the computer works great until you turn it off. I haven taken it in several more times with now luck. We are now looking at a computer that will only turn on if EVERYTHING is unplugged out of every port to turn it on. What a pain! I am thinking that we will be purchasing a new apple soon.
None of this even address the trouble j is having with his work computer. His business is set up that everything runs from that laptop. The sad thing is that those laptops are old and crash all the time. He also has an external hard-drive but can not move his information to another working computer because of security issues. The poor guy has picked up a ton of work and now the computer is dead. A dead computer makes it very hard to get his work accomplished effectively. It takes twice as long to get anything done.
My two good cameras are shot.
The really good one is completely broken. It was fixed for about 20 hours when it broke again. I figure it just isn't meant to be right now. I will put it up on the shelf and wait until the little ones are a tad older. I love my camera, I really do, but it isn't worth being mad at the young ones all the time. Then the back up, nice camera is cracked right down the center. I sent it off to be repaired.
I suspect it will not be worth it or be covered by the warranty. I am very hard on cameras. I use them constantly.
I got myself a very cheap substitute the other day. I need something for goodness sake. I had to do something considering even my back up was broken. UGH! I will probably discover I take better pictures without all that technology.
I hope not, cause I love all that stuff. Anyway, enough of my woes.
God is good! I am so glad that He is better to me than I am to technology. Here is to you and your "luck" with computers and cameras. May you have the golden touch and not my touch.

Flying Squirrels and Broken Cameras.
My baby is an official flying squirrel. Community colleges have the oddest mascot names. . .but anyway I just wanted to brag about my Pooker. She followed through with several phone calls, changing her work schedule again, and making it to practice/try outs. She did not play that much because she was so delayed in making to the practices because of work. I suspect that will be a different story next week.

As she was being put into the game, I reached over to pick up Jumba who was crawling onto the court. He kicked my camera and it smashed in to the ground. My very expensive camera is now officially dead. My back up camera is being repaired.
So no shots of Pooker during or after the game. I will cry about that elsewhere because this is about how proud of Pooker I am. Way to go my little squirrel.

In the end the team did not win any games but it sure was fun to be there cheering Pooker on again.
The kiddos loved watching again.
We all felt like we were back where we belong.
And for Dad, well we could hardly keep him on his chair.
