We Got An Offer!! Wahoo!

Today J and I accepted an offer for the Texas house.

Our realtor was the best.  She is a stickler for details and that was nerve racking but she was always very kind and gracious and helped us do as much work as she could.
Seriously call Amy Raper if you are in the Woodlands area and needing to sell your home. 5 days and we had an interested buyer, 7 days and we agreed on an offer.  Wow what a week!

I rejoiced when the official label changed on the social media sites.  PENDING!  Much better than "For Sale"

If you are so inclined please ask God guide us to our new home. We will be moving at the end of June. Destination still unknown. Our next adventure is about to begin. Prayers please!

Another Open House

No rest for the weary.  We had extra people this time with Sugar and Dad getting home very late.  We got out the door with our dogs quickly and effectively.  We were feeling a little sad that the first person hadn't put an offer on the house already so that we didn't need to do this.  Turns out that this showing was for his wife.  So maybe we would still sell to this buyer.  To the park . . .
No matter what happens were are exhausted but united.  I love this group of people.  We played baseball.  The kids had a blast and we went home.

It is hard to get all our people and dogs out the door in a prompt manner while the house is looking fabulous but this crown always rises to the challenge.  I am proud of these kiddos.

Lindenwood is Out for Summer

The semester is coming to a close.

Sugar will miss school and the extended family.  She has has a blast playing with cousins.

She also loved bing a member of CAB and getting to make new friends.

Now the semester was over.  Dad was in town for business and would be bringing her home to Texas.

They took a quick shopping trip with Mimi and then headed home!
We can't wait to hug you.

We were thrilled when they arrived safely and bringing a fun treat for everyone from St. Louis.

BUT please don't make a mess, we are supposed to have an open house this weekend!

BOL May Crowning

Bread of Life Homeschool Group planned a May Crowning.

Jumba and John were a little upset that we made them stop playing football to join the group for the May Crowning.

The Bread of Life Homeschool group had its official May Crowning during park day.  They processed around the park and then laid the beautiful flowers around our Lady.  It was beautiful to watch.  There were prayers and songs and a joy.  These children love Our Lady and it was obvious.

I was having a hard time staying in the moment.  No official offer yet.  Doubt was creeping back in.

Now the Fun Begins - A SHOWING

Last night J was out of town on business and I was driving Pooker across town to swim practice (she is the coach!).  Pickle called and said that a neighbor came the door and wanted to walk through the house.  He had seen the pictures on line.  What should he do.  I told him to explain to the neighbor that we would love for him to see the house but your parents are not home. It would unsafe to let a stranger walk through.  The man apologized and apparently made an appointment for his lunch break the next day.

That panic and rush that comes with getting the house perfect and then getting out the door with the dogs.  Deep breathes.  Every showing could be the showing.  Too be honest we were not looking forward to this part.  But no time to fret we were out the door in plenty of time.  We stopped but he chapel and then went and got lunch.  We brought it home but were not afraid to eat inside.

I was now a little gun shy about leaving the kids at home alone.  We were getting double digit likes and saves on the social media adds for our home.  So I packed them up after lunch - the house still looking great - we took the dogs and met some friends at the park for a little fun before Possible had to go to work.

Twin Beautiful looked at this tree and asked an interesting question,
"Is that one of those scary haunted trees?"
It did look a little creepy with the moss.  My mind was reeling so I didn't really give it much thought. The realtor called while we were driving into the park.

Realtor asked,
"Did you see the comments from today's showing?"
I was feeling very worried and thinking what did they find to complain about it?  I just wanted to cry and then she must have heard my hesitation as I said,
"No, we only see the comments at the report at the end of the week.  We don't get the daily report."
She giggled a little,
"OK, well he didn't have any comments."
I was now thinking she was wasting my time by calling.  What did she want but she continued,
"No comments because we intend to make an offer!"
I had trouble staying on the road as I drove into the park.  I called Jason and screamed with the kids as we drove.  I really should have pulled over to make that excited call.  I was then pulled over by a police officer that wanted to know why I was speeding into the park at record speeds.  I explained and was given a warning.  He was so nice.  My mind was still racing and nothing counts until we have an offer in hand.  BUT HOPE was our new word!

Sleeping Twins

These pictures are not as frequent but they are special. How can two people sleep with their legs kicking each other all night is beyond me.  Twins probably wonder why everyone can't sleep that way.

So much my has been happening. I needed comfort. I decided to make one of my favorite meals from my youth.  My mom was not the most flavorf...
