Batting Cages

I am so proud of this kid. It is so hard to try something new. We dragged this young man across this country to a new place and now he is trying a new sport. He and his dad have been playing catch for awhile now and he is going to try to baseball. He doesn't know the game, he doesn't know any other kids playing and he is isn't sure he will even like it . . . BUT he is giving it a try. That takes guts.

Reality is that we have had an extremely wet spring. Practice was canceled and moved to the batting cages. We were pretty impressed with how hard Jumba worked and how well he did. Dad, Pickle, and Bagel all stayed and helped run the machines so the boys could practice their hitting. I love that.
