Lone Elk Adventure

There is a small reserve area in St. Louis that has areas of elk and buffalo. It is a place that I would try to drive through when possible when we would visit. Now that we were here I wanted to try to inspire the rest of the family to enjoy this place like I used to. On Monday afternoon we took our few hour between commitments and visited this park. The leaves had not yet started to change but we had fun with each other walking around and exploring. 

J feels that the park is misnamed. He did not see a "Lone Elk" but several. Actually it was kind of exciting. The elk were all over the place.
